The Girls from Salon Eclipse with Sammy, Farm Boss
As everyone knows, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month & We want to thank Salon Eclipse & our community for helping us raise money for The Nation Breast Cancer Foundation. The girls from Salon Eclipse came out & did hair extensions for the “Pink Hair for Hope” . We had pony rides, pictures & a delicious cake that was so graciously donated by Moriarty Cakes of Blairsville. Our mascot Sammuel Addams even has his hair extensions to show his support!! A special Thanks to Devin at Persaud Jewelers in Blairsville, for the donations. We raffled 2 of his creations, both sterling silver bracelets with the Breast Cancer charm on them. We couldn’t have done this without everyone’s help!!! To make a donation to the NBCF go to thier website at:http://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/. To see other events & happenings at the farm, go join our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/astepabove!

I will be dressed up too!!!
We are inviting everyone to come out & have some fun with us for Halloween!!! My kids came up with this idea when they got “too big” to trick or treat” This is our 3rd year & it just keeps getting better each year! Call me old fashioned, but I don’t consider Trick or Treating “walking around the square” in a line, holding your bag open. Come out to the Stables & see what’s going on! We will have free pony rides, a costume contest, ton’s of candy & Sammuel Addams The Mini all dressed up! i will be here taking pictures of all the costumes & you can download them from here for free. After you get done here, stop in at Scarry Sherri’s for a REALLY kid freindly scarry yard!! She has tons of candy! We’d love to see you all there!

Hello again everyone! Sorry I haven’t been posting much on my blog, but we have been so busy I just haven’t had time! We have blessed with mostly beautiful weather this Summer & have had lots of visitor’s & trail riders. I have met so many different people this Summer & have gotten spolied by more kids than I can count. The little girl in the picture was one of my favorites! She & I played & took pictures & had a great time. For anyone just finding my blog, I am Sammuel Addams, Farm Boss & Mascot! With all of the goings on here this Summer, one very important task is getting our Show Team, show ready. Team Step has spent every day possible this Summer, riding & training. Practice makes perfect! They have had a great showing in all of the events they have been in so far this year. They closed the last show of the season last Saturday in Cleveland,Tn at the Tennessee State Show with lot’s of ribbons! Way to go guys! After all of that hard work, they are now prepared for The World Show, a week long celebration of The Best of The Best!! If only I were bigger, I could show there too! I know they will do great! Stay Tuned for our Show Team page! If anyone has a Facbook account, make sure you visit & join our page at www.facebook.com/astepabove so you can see more of me & interact with us! We have tons of show pictures & all around the farm!! You can also view the Trail Ride Pictures that we post daily!! See you soon!! Sammuel Addams, Farm Boss

He has been ridden in groups or 35+ horse in what we call extreme trail riding conditions! He will also leave the barn alone with no issues. We could not have asked for a better match. He is PERFECT for our needs. My daughter is part of the Quarter Horse association and counts her trail riding hours, So far this year we are up to 185 hours! (since February) He has been amazing!Just wanted to give you an update on the Perfect Little Gentle Man her with us ~ he won’t be leaving our farm at any time in the near future!
